About me and my practice

I am a highly qualified and dedicated online Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, holding a Post Graduate level COSCA validated Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Counselling and Group work.
My commitment to excellence is underscored by being an Accredited Professional member of The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (PNCPS Acc). I practice in alignment with the NCPS Ethical Framework and uphold the Professional Conduct procedures outlined within it (NCPS Code of Ethics).
At the heart of CBT is the understanding that our thoughts and beliefs, along with our behaviours, play a pivotal role in shaping how we feel. By unravelling this interconnected web, CBT empowers individuals to navigate and transform their emotional experiences.
CBT guides you in identifying and changing your own unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving. The collaborative partnership between client and therapist is structured and solution-focused, working towards achieving agreed therapy goals. Whether seeking short-term support or a deeper exploration, CBT adapts to your unique needs and preferences.
I understand that each individual is unique, and I tailor my approach to address your specific needs and concerns. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, relationship issues, or work-related stress, our sessions will be customized to support your journey. My counselling approach goes beyond symptom relief; it focuses on empowering individuals to make lasting changes, fostering personal growth, and building resilience for the future. Dealing with sensitive topics such as sexual abuse, violence, and infant loss requires a compassionate and experienced counsellor. I bring expertise in handling these delicate matters with the utmost care, empathy, and understanding.
